Double Eagle

with 9 comments

Delton’s first attempt at golf was a Double Eagle (If you don’t play golf, that’s about the best you can shoot on a hole) I got my clubs out last night to mess around and he was loving it. That gives me an official reason to hit the course every Saturday (and Friday, Sunday and one other wild card day during the week)  for the next 20 years. Talk about a Hole In One!! Honestly? It’s about time.  I need him to start earning some money for the family, I’m ready to retire!

We’re outta here!! Take good care of those clubs. They’re going to be yours one day!

Addendum:

I suppose it’s possible to shoot better than a double eagle if you somehow holed it out on a Par 5, like Happy Gilmore. That would be awesome by the way. Also, I just learned that it can also be called an albatross. (It’s very rare. But that really doesn’t make sense because aren’t albatrosses extinct?) Comments on that welcome

Also, please comment on what you nominate for Big B/D Man’s golf nickname. Tiger or Shark would be awesome but those are already taken. Maybe The Puma or The Panther. Coyote is also tough. It doesn’t have to be a predatory animal I guess. It could be something else tough like “Nails” or “The Laser”. Those would also be acceptable. Comments on that not only welcome, but encouraged and possibly rewarded.

Ready Set Bumbo

without comments

This is probably only funny to people who have children and understand what Bumbo is all about. I think I wouldn’t have laughed at this before I had Delton.

This reminds me of when I used to have more free time to mess around. As it is now, I haven’t even had time to upload pictures so I’m going to steal a video that I saw over a year ago and regenerate it as “new” content on my blog. I’m so cool like that.

Right about now, the funk soul brother.
