Some Important Observations

with 2 comments

Hancock was barely worth the $1 I spent to rent it from Redbox.

I got a free cafe latte from McDonald’s today. It was better than Starbucks.  For the record, the iced coffee from there is also good.

I passed a guy today with a Blackwater sticker on the back of his truck. I wouldn’t be bragging about that.

I also saw a motorcycle wreck shortly after that. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in person (no one was hurt)

The rest of these will be related to things that are interesting to me, so if that bores you, then maybe you should leave:

I wore a Houston Texans shirt today, and for the first time it was because I was proud to wear it. Usually, I put one one because I’m trying to be ironic.

I was real excited to get a ticket to the Texas Bowl until Western Michigan got involved. I’m no football expert but I couldn’t name one player on that team.

The finale of Sons of Anarchy was one of the best episodes of TV I have seen this year. I have watched it 3 times. Who’s that ridin’? John the Revelator. Did anyone else besides me notice that he slept near a headstone titled “Patmos” in the last scene?

I really need to know who Turner Gill’s friend was at the end of the Buffalo/Ball State game on Friday. Coach Gill was maintaining his composure pretty well but then mystery man came to give him a hug and both of them were weeping like it was a funeral. Mysterious.

I guess that I should care about Texas getting stiffed out of the BCS championship but in all fairness, Tech did beat them, lest we forget. Anyways, I’m excited to see Florida v Oklahoma on January 8 and I can’t wait to see the Red Raiders wipe Houston Nutt from the face of the earth at the Cotton Bowl. That would be just fine.

Thanks,

wp
